Root Moving from Sprint (HTC Evo 4G) to Verizon (Motorola Droid Razr Maxx)

I've been with Sprint for over 10 years, the last 2 of which I've had an HTC Evo 4G (rooted). I'm looking to switch over to Verizon in the next week or so and I'm leaning towards the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx (unless someone has a better suggestion for a top-of-the-line Android offering). I'm looking for some advice/suggestions on how to make the switch - I have Titanium Backups for all of my apps - is it possible to restore these on the Droid Razr Maxx if I root this too? Also, I'm very used to HTC Sense on the Evo 4G - how will this impact the switchover, and is it possible to flash a Sense ROM on this new Verizon phone? Sorry if any of these questions are dumb, I've been stuck in the Sprint world for so long, I don't know what's going on outside of it.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Had the same quandry in FEB ... Sprint corporate-discount customer for 14 years. But took a new job where I had ZERO coverage so I made the leap - and WOW! Unless I'm hammering the phone all day I get home with 48% battery left... Service in and around town (ATL) has been decent and better in some locations/worse in others. A few things are backwards for me since I've had an HTC phone for 6 years - but I'm getting past that. The one thing that I am having an issue with is the $$$ of the plan.

Face it, we've been spoiled by Sprint's price-point and everything plans. And for me, I've had great service with Sprint - even customer service when I neeed it (yeah, so I'm the only one that was satisfied based on reading posts around here) .... But I did manage to get into VZN with double-data plans.

As for your data backups, hadn't really explored that and unfortunately haven't gotten around to flashing any ROMS ... With the new job, all I've had time to do is root and status all of the forums ... Well, that and work on converting an HP seperation gift (Touchpad) to Android... :D

Good luck and welcome!

I'm in somewhat of the same boat, and posted a thread to that effect in the main forum before seeing this one.

I'm moving from a DX to a RM, and have been using TiBu. Having some experience with using TiBu for restores when switching ROMs, my theory is that you can do a full restore as long as you don't restore any apps that come up in green or red, but that's not a qualified opinion.
