Moving Google Maps and Youtube to SD Card

I have a Lava Iris 405 rooted phone. I am wondering whether its possible to move Google Maps and Youtube app in the SD Card to save some space. Both these apps came with the phone.

I rarely use these apps and most of the time disable them. I do not even update them. Is it possible??

If they are pre-installed then they are living in the /system partition, which is separate from the space you have for user-installed apps and data. So moving them would not actually save you any space.

Since Android 4 moving apps to SD has not been supported (though some manufacturers hacked it back in to some of their devices), and it was never supported for system apps.
