Could Mozilla become a branch of Google? | ZDNet

The new Australis does resemble Chrome. I don't care for it as I like the flat filing system. Everything within reach. I like the menu bar, and hate having to hunt for the print function.


Plus MS and Google are starting to act like the old PC/Mac ads:
Google gets sassy in firing back to Microsoft's 'Scroogled' merchandise - Neowin.

I think it's funny. I liked those PC/Mac ads, but they didn't make me want to buy a Mac.

I knew that Mozilla has essentially been funded by Google for years - there was a big scare last year/earlier this year when the agreement ended and there was talk of Google cutting funding.

Hard to see what Mozilla can do about it when Google provides 90% of their funding. That goes (the current agreement ends next year) and basically, they're toast.

Could you imagine mozilla and google merge? I mean what other browsers are out there that people use? Google would own like 80% of the web browsers.
