Mozilla Thunderbird in Android?

Has anyone had experience of running Thunderbird in Android?
I run Thunderbird in a desktop with Windows 7. (I love its Show InOut extension - everything in the Inbox with the incoming emails threaded and displayed in italics). I have a gmail account but find its emailing very limited (HTML?) cp Thunderbird.
I am thinking of buying a smartphone (Blaclkberry Priv?) and am wondering how Thunderbird in Android would compare.

Mozilla has never provided a version of Thunderbird to mobile devices. If you're looking for something that will exactly duplicate its desktop features (with the extensions you've added) that's a real long shot. All email apps have the same basic functionality but differ widely on their interfaces and levels of configuration options. Be willing to compromise a bit and hopefully you'll find one that suits your purposes (there are plenty of viable options available from the Play Store).

I prefer K-9 Mail but a lot of others highly praise Aqua Mail. Blue Mail is another popular email app, but those are just suggestions as you just need to find the one that fits in with your own specific needs. Read through the descriptions for each and take a look at the screen caps.

Thank you. You are all right.
I found a site via Google which listed Thunderbird for Android. Unfortunately I did not bookmark it.
I will look at some of the suggested alternatives but I don't hold out much hope of a comparable app.

Needs to be clarified there is no 'official' version of Thunderbird for Android. Again, Mozilla did not ever make and does not support any Thunderbird app so if there's a bootlegged, fake version out there, keep in mind if you do opt to actually use it that's a really risky way to expose your entire email service account to an unknown entity.

Yes, I am fairly hackophobic: no online banking, no swipe cards, Opera browser with its very good cookie management, etc.
K-9 seems to be the only smartphone email app which supports HTML. I Thunderbird forms as HTML tables to clients who have desktop email applications (eg. MS Office). These are for weekly duty rotas and the clients can fill them in and return them. Then I can print them off and put them on my notice board..
It would be nice to be able to email the forms to smartphone users. I have looked at K-9 which seems to be the only one that has any kind of support for HTML. But I think it is unrealistic to think about sending such advanced stuff to all smartphone users who can't properly support HTML. Pity!

Needs to be noted that Opera is now owned and maintained by a Chinese conglomerate. Its original and very, very innovative Norwegian owners sold it back in early 2016.

Hadron:
I set up a gmail account and Thunderbird'ed my form to it. The best gmail could do was display the HTML code. It seems that I will have to forget about sending forms to 'smart' phone users.
Svim:
Thank you for pointing out that Opera is now Chinese. I pray they don't muck it about. (my Windows 7 security is Russian and works very well. Bought after superb FineReader and CalendarScope. I worry that the Russians have so much access to my PC).
