About a week ago I had a couple of questions about how to transfer mp3 files to my desktop. Thanks to the people here that helped me get my issue resolved, I have since gotten all my mp3's transfered and edited. Now that I have all that pretty much done and have all of my phone storage cleared and ready for new files I've downloaded and checked out every mp3 downloader through the play store NONE OF THEM WORK! IF THEY DO WORK ITS A DAMN VIDEO! IF I WANTED A VIDEO I'D GO DIRECTLY TO YOUTUBE, WHICH IS AWESOME! I want to download new music that I dont have, so can anybody tell me why these apps dont work? I have tried all even frostwire doesnt work and yes I get a descent internet signal as well!

I think many apps that claim to download free music are using YouTube, which is all videos of course, or they're bittorrent clients. If Frostwire doesn't work, which is a torrent client, could be your ISP is blocking bittorrent tracker sites, seeders, and downloads/uploads because of copyright infringement. Are you in the UK or Ireland perchance?

I download and stream most of my music legally via QQMusic or Xiami, which are free but only available in China.
 
This is an Lg phone, the galaxy phones I had in the past never had that problem, Ive had the same ISP since day 1 6 years ago, this is the 3rd phone on that same Isp account
 
Apparently you're looking for solutions that download and effectively bypass DRM-protected content? That's generally frowned upon here, you might get better feedback on Reddit.
 
No not nessecarily, just lookin for an app that actually works as well, as what I had on my last 2 phones, problem is those phones are long gone and I dont remember what apps I had at the time, even if i did remember I dont think that I can get them on this phone. Not lookin to pi rate any music, Id just like to have a well organized music file with a ton of content for the soul purpose of using it when I play my drums!
 
If somewhere near you still sells cds buy one and rip it. I've had DRM content (books) removed from my device because the author wasn't happy. Unless it's in your hand it can be deleted by the distributors.

I had at the time, even if i did remember I dont think that I can get them on this phone. Not lookin to pi rate any music, Id just like to have a well organized music file with a ton of content for the soul purpose of using it when I play my drums!
