MP3 Auto-Capitalizing???

Lurker
I'm running into a little problem and I seem to be the only one cause I haven't found any similar topics. First off I got a HTC Thunderbolt. Long story short is I've been downloading MP3's, but when I go to tag them, the artist's name is ALL CAPITALIZED. I've tried various mp3 tag apps. I even tried apps that seperate ID3v1 and ID3v2, but came up with nothing. The wierd thing is that when I go to edit the tag in my current app (iTag) that it shows all the correct puncuation, but when I go through my music player to play the music it shows everything in all caps. Also when you hit the menu button and click on details, it'll show the artist in all caps as well. Is there some type of file catche that I need to erase or something? Thanks in advance for all the help!

Tried the reboot AND the app. It almost seems like there is a catche in the music player. Song titles change just fine, but this is what I notice. If I add a artist name in for the first time, it remembers that name specifically, puncuation and all. For example, if I enter it right the first time then try to change it to all caps, it will revert back to what I put in first.

Example:
Atreyu (phone saves band name for first time)

ATREYU >>> Atreyu (won't capitalize, but recognizes it from the way I first put it in)

A treyu >>> A treyu (phone doesn't recognize it anymore, so it has no catche to go off of therefore saving it EXACTLY the way I typed it)

Basically my phone almost remembers what I entered and as long as it's spelled the same with caps or not, it's going to save it the way it first read it. It sucks cause if I download a song with the artist field already filled in, then I can't change it. If it's spelled right, but caps then that is he only way my music player will read it. I hope I explained it better this time around.
