MP3 ID Tag problem

Hi. Hope you can help? I got a new Sammy Galaxy S2 and I love it. Been putting music onto the Micro SD card today and thought I'd change some MP3 Tags, maybe add some album artwork.
Well I've tried with MediaMonkey and Songbird and neither of them allows me to edit the Tags!?!. It just won't save any changes ?!?!
If I edit the MP3's through windows it allows me to save them. So it can't be write protected can it??

Not sure with android where to start any ideas??

While I am sure there are apps to do this on the phone, I would HIGHLY suggest just doing it from a PC, its MUCH easier to type in multiple tags with a pc instead of the phone

I have tried from PC too. It has the same effect. It won't let me edit Tags, but will let me put new music onto the card.
