Mortplayer Audiobooks (not the normal Mortplayer) is a free audio/music player app that remembers where you stopped on multiple audio files and (upon restart) resumes play for there. It plays music nicely but it's geared toward listening to audio books, lectures, etc., so it has nice features for skipping forward & back a few seconds, bookmarking, etc.
