Mp3 purchase question

I want to purchase a song and add it to my mp3 collection to play on device with playerpro. Not sure how to do this. If I buy from Google Play music or Amazon it seems as if I can only play it with their corresponding app. How do I get the file to permanently save and play however I want?

With both services, they'll let you download it to your pc (if you have the pc application installed) then you can burn it to cd, copy it to your mp3 player or do anything else you do with any other MP3.

(not sure about how you do it using the android apps though, if its even possible)
