Lurker
I copied a mp3 to my phone (HTC Desire) that I wanted to use as a ringtone. Usually you can just open the file with the music player, hit menu, and choose "use as a ringtone". But for some reason the music player wont find the file at all. It finds all the other mp3:s I have in the same folder though.
Well, I then went to the sdcard (where the mp3 folder is) with AndExplorer and clicked to open the file. For my surprise it started playing just fine, but it didnt let me access the menu at all. I then tried another mp3 in the same folder. It opened just fine and started playing, but for some reason this one let me acces the menu and set it as a ringtone.
I then tried AndLess (another music player I have) and it found the file and played it just fine, but it does not have the option to set ringtones. After that I downloaded RingDroid, but again, RingDroid didn't find the file at all.
So I'm now wondering where the problem might be. The mp3 file in question is named correctly, that was the first thing I checked, but I just can't figure out what is wrong in the picture. Any ideas?
