MP3 transfer (I searched first)

Hi all

New to these forums, not to my Galaxy Tablet.
I searched first, no luck.

I have a ton of MP3's on my PC

I am sure this is a simple request, but how do I get them onto my Galaxy Tab? I was just going to copy therm to my memory card, but not sure where to put them. Using WinAMP to listen to music.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I assume if you searched your Galaxy manual.... but just connect a USB cable and move them like you would to a hard drive. Or install an explorer (like File Expert or FX), and move them via wifi. Or, if your card has been formated in your tab, unmount it and stick it in an adapter in your PC and drag and drop. Lots of ways, fastest is USB cable or directly to card.

Winamp will not see the mp3 files if you don't use Winamp desktop to sync them to your tablet. I strongly suggest you choose a 'real' mp3 player. A few good ones include Mortplayer and PowerAmp.

Where'd you get that information from?

I just copy my mp3s over and Winamp sees them fine.

Winanp is a pretty decent and free option for an Android mp3 player.

If you have an internet connection when your listining to your music, take a goos look at Amazon MP3 player for Android... All your MP3s on Amazon for free and streem them to your tablet...

Stream all your MP3s from your PC to your Tab with free AudioGalaxy. Saves you the time having to make duplicate copies on the Tab. Saves storage space on your SD card. But best used only when on a WiFi connection.
