mp4 to mp3 conversion

I found a performance I really like on Vimeo. However, I couldn't find a way to download it. I know Firefox has converters to turn videos into music, but how can I use that, especially if there's no way to download it?

Opera Mini allows you to download them. (YouTube downloading is not allowed, not sure if Vimeo allows or not...). Then you can use the app called Timbre to convert .mp4 files to .mp3 files...

Vimeo is a streaming site AFAIK, and has to be viewed online in the browser. So presumably you're referring to some third-party "converter" add-on for Firefox?

Yes, there are apparently hundreds of them. I'm looking for one that will let me convert a video to a soundtrack and then download it. Do you have any recommendations? By the way, I didn't know Video was streaming only.

While some sites allow downloading of content for personal use, some expressly prohibit it like Youtube. While there are tools that may give you the ability to download content, if it violates the Terms of using the site, we won't permit discussion of that and specific content will be deleted.
