MS office virus

I have face last time in a computer that the all MS office files like word, excel, all has damaged. That is very much bad. All the office data has been vanished. Any one know about the virus and how to recover?

Do a virus scan. I've never heard of a virus that just attacks Microsoft Office files.

Malwarebytes is a great malware removal tool.

It is a very small company and it has all its data in word or excel files. So we also make backup of every day work, but the current work has damaged due to this virus. It activated after every month. I have also try to formate & reinstall the Windows. But it also does not solve the problem.
