I was hoping someone with another LG MS323 could copy the file at: /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem
...and upload it for me?
You should be able to copy it through something like root explorer or from an adb root shell or the Terminal Emulator on the phone.
Like so:
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem of=/storage/sdcard0/modem-firmware.img
^ It would be on the external sd card as "modem-firmware.img"
It's the firmware that controls the modem hardware (3g, wifi, bluetooth). I corrupted that file and it's not something that gets replaced when you install something like CM.
The file should be exactly 64MB uncompressed, if someone could please upload it to mediafire.com or something then I can make my phone work as a phone again
