Help MT4G Calling Issues

Before I take our phones back to T-Mobile, I wanted to see if anyone has a similar issue. My wife and I both have a MT4g, and we both use WiFi calling at home due to weak T-Mobile Signal indoors. I've noticed a rather big problem: when we leave our house and the phones swtich back to T-Mobile's network, the phones show excellent reception and the H indicator, but the problem is we cannot make or receive calls. If we try to make a call the phone sits at the dialing screen for about a minute, and then just cancels out. If someone trys to call us, it goes directly to voicemail. The only way to resolve this is to reboot the phone, or put the phone in airplane mode and then take out. I had a G2 and it did not exhibit this problem, but both of our MT4gs do this. I was wondering if anyone has seen something similar? We both love everything else about the phone, but this is sort of a big problem.

Yes, I have this exact same problem!!!! I have switched phones twice and am still having the issue. Did a new sim card, master reset, battery pull..... all that junk..... and now on the third MT4G and am still not able to place or receive calls about 85% of the time.....

This is a long shot, but if you go to Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks>Network Mode, your phones aren't set to "WCDMA only", are they? If so, set them to "GSM/WCDMA auto".

I think you should definitely do what macmcf suggested, i was having similar problems and i did the exact same thing and it was back to normal with no issues.
