Multi-tasking on the Asus MeMo fhd 10

I finally broke down and purchased a tablet. I would have loved to have gotten a note 10.1 but it was a bit pricey for my budget. I've got the note 2 so tablet would be a shorter learning curve. I thought about getting the 8.0 but wasn't sure that would suit my needs. I wanted something a wee bit more portable than my laptop and bigger than my note 2 and I just wasn't sure that the difference between the note 2 and note 8.0 would really be significant enough. I love my s pen though. It really is handy.

I really like the tablet and am getting around it pretty good, not that much different than a smartphone. I also have to say that I love the size. It's light, portable and much easier to deal with than a laptop. I miss the multitasking I had on the note. Being able to have two windows open at the same time really makes a difference sometimes.

What I don't understand is that I thought the multi-tasking that I can do on my note 2 was universal with JB 2.2 and above. I've gotten the 4.3 update and so it would seem it should have that function. I know the floating windows are there but that isn't true multitasking nor is it as easy as being able to have two windows open. If you start working on the floating window, you lose the initial app you had open.

Is there something I'm missing?
