Help Multi touch on magic

Hey sorry I am not sure if their is multi touch or not wikipedia seys their is and that it has a capacitive screen. But in a review I read it seys it has multi touch but just not in core aplications. And another again seys it doesnt at all.

I live in Uk so the Us wide apple patent shouldnt effect me like the droid and the nexus one right?

I am just looking for a chep android phone till my upgrade at the begging of spetember where ill proberly get the legend or desire. I would get a Hero but for

The magic is definitely multi touch capable. I've used pinch zooming in the browser, but that's all I've used it for.

I'm pretty sure Rogers' ROM here in canada originally suppressed the multitouch, so you may want to double check with your carrier. Just because it's capable, doesn't mean it's implemented.

just buy one and root it
then you'll have no problem.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to just get one hope it has it enabled if not root it im just looking for a nice but cheap android phone until august ( my upgrade)
