Multiple Problems with Huawei Ascend 2 Phone

Hello. I'm a new member here and do not know where to go for help with the problems on my phone.

Problem 1: Phone will not allow data transfer for extended periods of time.
- I have the Data transfer turned on. I am in a network that I have always gotten data in before. I have gone into my mobile network settings and turned data enabled on and off. Data has always been on. I have data enabled while roaming. It automatically selects the system. When data is on and I am connected to a network the icon turns green and when I am not connected it turns a smokey grey color which I assumed meant that I was roaming. Normally it's not a problem however sometimes the icon will stay the smokey white color for months. I believe the longest I have had to deal with it roaming was two months. There also was a time where it wouldn't give me data transfer at all and I could only use wifi to connect to anything.

Problem 2: Phone resets randomly.
Now maybe this is because I'm a klutz and have dropped my phone quite a few times. However this usually happens when I don't have data. For instance, yesterday it reset at least twice.

Problem 3: If phone restarts I get a green circle.
-To get around this I usually press the power button on and off until the blue loading screen for Tracfone has passed. (My Ascend is through straight talk who is a part of Tracfone) Then I have to wait for the lock screen to come up. The lock screen says that it never has signal. I then press emergency call and wait for the x on top of the signal bar to go away, enter my password and begin using my phone. If I don't do this the phone will load with a black screen with a tiny green circle rotating in the middle. It then pops up with the message "The application com.android.huawei.keyprogramming has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again and the only button I can press is force close.

Problem 4: Volume will randomly be turned up after resetting.
This might just be my butt hitting buttons. I'm not really sure.

Problem 5: Phone doesn't recognize the SD Card.
Randomly my phone will decide there isn't an SD Card in it when there is. I take out the SD Card put it back in and phone still doesn't recognize it.

I think those are the main tech problems I am having. I'm planning on resetting the whole thing and cleaning everything off of it. I've done that before and it's fixed it but only for a month or so.

Phone:Huawei Ascend 2
Provider:StraightTalk (Tracfone).
Data: I believe that my data comes from Verizion towers.

Phone status info:

Hopefully someone can help me figure out what's been going on.:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

When you factory reset be sure and do the *22890 to reprogram the phone.

After reset I would only download Google apps or maybe acrobat if needed. And use it longer than you did last time and document when that changes. Add apps very slowly and document the order. The apps causing the problem hopefully you will be capable of catching the problem and can look at the list and uninstall those recent apps until you isolate the problem

Phone will not allow data transfer for extended periods of time

I had this happen when I was on Sprint and now, on ST. I can usually wake it up with Restart Connections...

Do you ever find your 2G/3G connection simply isn't working and all you can do is restart the phone to fix it? On my nexus one, it happens all the time. Hence this application that does what it says on the tin.
- Restart all wireless and network connections.
- Single-click operation.
