Multiple website logins using Android Browser

Hello,

I run a website with an administration area. I can log in to this area fine using my standard Android browser. Once logged in, I have some additional functionality to build some files inside my administration area - this functionality requires a different user (one with permissions to write files). When I click to perform this functionality, Android tries to do it using the current logged in user but it fails (as the logged in user doesnt have the right permissions). What I want it to do is prompt me for my username / password again - so I can enter the correct user and proceed with the operation. My WP7 phone did this out of the box - it's the only limitation I have found with my Android phone. I have tried the standard browser, Opera mini and the Dolphin browser - they all behave the same.

Any suggestions to make this work?

Regards,
Damian

Try Firefox with the user agent setting at 'Desktop Fiirefox'. Works for me for some tricky site logins so might be worth a try.

Unless they've improved it recently I wouldn't go with Firefox as browser - it caused massive data leaks on my phone ( 200mb in 24 hours when left on in background ). Dolphin allows the same options on user agent settings
