Music app that uses track number metadata?

I have all my music save as .m4a, with all the tracks named as 01 NameOfSong. The one problem I have had with my Incredible from day one, is I cannot find a way to get the songs to be sorted by track number instead of the song title in the album art (that is, without the 01, 02, etc.). Does any one know of an application that would work here? Ideally, I would like to use the standard Android music player. Is there something wrong with the .m4a format that does not hold the metadata correctly? I have all my music saved as FLAC as well, so re-converting it is not a problem. Any help would be great!

Okay, I'll look into that. I tried converting one of my albums from FLAC to standard MP3 using dBpoweramp, and the standard music player sorted it by track. Right now I'm converting the rest of my music and we'll see how that goes.
