Music App

I am using the music app that came with my Motorola A855 Droid.
I have created a folder on my SD card named "Music".
I have placed several mp3 files in there.
When I go to the music app and select one of the files, the app plays all the files back to back to back. How can I make it only play the one file I selected?

Hi,
The best way that I've been able to prevent this problem is by differentiating the music within the music folder.
You've already created a main music folder. Within that folder create additional folders with the names of the artists that you have. Within each artist folder create folders for the different albums that each artist has. Then just drag and drop the songs into the respective album folders and the music app should recognize when to stop playing. Right now the music app thinks you just have one long play list instead of many different artists and albums.

Music>artist>album>songs

Ok, that's a good idea. But now maybe I should go a little further with my explaination. All I am putting in the folder are MP3 files of sounds. Could be used as ringtones.

What I am trying to do is add to the collection of ringtones that come with the phone.

I keep all my music separate than my ringtones. There's a really good program called ringdroid that will create ringtones from a section of a song in your music collection.
