Help Music Audio/File Playback Problem!

When I load music files onto my phone via Micro SD, some songs that are actually 2-4 minutes are stretched to extensive lengths like 18, 24, and 54 minutes!
To note, the same has happened on my old LG Remarq and iPod Nano.

Please help?

Which music application are you running? I would try out a 3rd party app, such as PowerAmp (definitely worth buying, but there is a trial version as well) or DoubleTwist. This way you can confirm if the problem lies with your media files or your current music app.
