Help Music control on lock screen

I'm a new Andriod user. I was a loyal Iphone user for 3yrs and made the switch about a week ago to the Samsung.

So please keep that in mind when you read this question.


Sooo......one thing I really miss is having music player controls on the lock screen. I liked being able to double click and control my music on my Iphone while I was driving. It's easy and I didn't have to fiddle around to find an app and so one. So I installed Double Twist yesterday and it showed up on my lock screen. I think *wooohooo* then it worked for a little bit, then disappeared and I can not for the life of me get it back. I've checked settings under the app and it is set for lock screen controls, but they don't actually show up. What am I doing wrong????

Please help!!!!! I would really like to stop carrying around my old iphone as a music player.

not sure about the app you are using but when i use google music the controls appear on my lock screen and i can use them without having to enter my pin.

^ yep. i use Google Music as well.

If you download go locker from the market you can use it with any player. It even starts the last song played.
