Music disappeared from music player

Music i downloaded with utorrent suddenly disappeared from my Playlists. I found .nomedia files in all folders anddeletedthem but they still aren't appearing. I've copied the files to my sd card along with all my other music,still no luck.
I can still play them individually with utorrent and ES file explorer but can't for the life of me get them back into my player.
I've tried media multiple media scanners to no avail.
What gives?

Where did you get the music and where did you store it on your device?

Downloaded using utorrent, moved from downloads to external sd

It's not like i just downloaded the albums either. I've had them for months

Where did you download them from? Is it possibly you are running into DRM?

Not sure. As i said, I've had these albums for months and am just now encountering this problem

How do i check if there's drm? Is be kind of surprised though, the music is from bands on relatively minor labels
