Help Music files disappear from apps

I am having an odd issue with my LG Thrive in that my music apps will play all my MP3s just fine until I link it to my computer via USB. When I disconnect correctly, all my music apps can't find the music files until I physically tell it what folder it is in again. REally annoying.

It isn't a problem with the sd card though. Works fine in all my other devices and the contents are not disappearing from the card itself.

Hmmm, looks like it loses the information when ever I reboot the phone too. all I have to do is tell it where the folders are again but it is really annoying.
