Apps Music For Games/Apps

So I've enjoyed songwriting and composition for several years now and lately I've been thinking about actually putting my skills to use by contributing my music to mobile games. I had a couple of questions and if anybody has time to answer them I would be most appreciative.

1) What kind of audio files do developers generally use for mobile game music? Are there size limits?

2) What's the best way to get in contact with developers and offer my tunes? I'm not trying to make any money off of it right now. Currently working on getting a website of sorts together.

Thanks to everyone for your time!

The app I am playing with uses MP3. I do not know about a size cap as I am learning and the app im playing with, had the audio files already in it.

The best way to contact developers would probably be via email. Or if its a smaller developer, maybe even Google Talk.
