Music in areas

My idea is, you've got a map. Then you can select an area, on the map and whenever you're in that area, the chosen music starts playing. Then there's an option so you can put default music, everywhere else where you haven't set music for an area, or play no music anywhere else.
So it's like soundtracks in games!
Ha, how epic is that? :D

Software such as Tasker or Llama can help you achieve this. But the granularity of "areas" is probably not as fine as you need it to be (especially with Llama) and using Tasker in this fashion would consume lots of battery power.

If the latter is acceptable to you, then you could buy lots of routers, one per area, and try to demarcate the areas based upon the strength of WiFi signals. But even this approach is unlikely to operate reliably.

My suggestion: skip this idea and move on to your next creative notion.
