Music not playing through car

I was driving home and all of sudden my spotify music stopped playing through my car. It is still connected via bluetooth and still showing the song title on the display, but audio is playing through my phone. Ive tried clearing my bluetooth cache, resetting my phone, turning airplane mode on and off etc. Under bluetooth options the audio is turned off, but wont turn on when i press it. Any advice?

I'd think it would be an issue with the radio Bluetooth

Try restarting your device or go to settings and forget Bluetooth connection with the car then re-pairing connection.
