Music Player App

I have a Dinc2 and have about 2300 songs on it. I would like to have a music player that would let me just pick some songs to play without making a playlist everytime. I hate to install a bunch of players looking for this feature. I was able to do this on my Droid 2 with the native player on it but I cannot make it happen with the player on my new phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 1943

No I want to be able to play maybe 15 songs today and maybe 20 different songs tomorrow and maybe part of the 15 and part of the 20 on another day. If I make playlists I am stuck with the songs in the playlist. On the droid2 I could just go to my song list and pick the songs I wanted to hear and it would play them without making a playlist. Playlist has nothing to do with it. I want to play songs without making a playlist it's as simple as that. When I get thru playing them there would be no playlist.

I have an Evo so it already came wit a music player that allows me to do that but I use gtunes a lot which allows me to choose the songs I wanna hear without actually making a playlist so I would try dling that app and see if it work well on ur phone. Let me know if it works bc if I doesn't I have a few other apps u might be able to use

Thanks megznyc. Evidently gtunes has been pulled. I even tried to get it from their site and it's not available. What is some of the others you mentioned. Thanks Dave

I see what you mean.

When you're done listening to the playlist, delete the playlist.

With PowerAmp, you can browse all your songs, when you long-press one, a menu pops up where you can Enqueue it or add it to a playlist (plus Get Info and Delete). The enqueued tracks are played but not saved to a playlist.
