music player loosing music

Hey so i am having an issue with music...

I saw a thread almost the same as my issue but the thread was locked so here i am.

Running android 4.4.2, when i bought the phone (new) it was missing both music player and gallery, i installed the oe gallery and thats fine, i installed apollo for 4.4.2 and it looses a music folder.

I have all my music in seperate folders, by genre, then artist, then album. I added a folder and the phone recognizes it and can play, but only untill i restart the phone, the files are then lost to apollo until i move the folder between internal and sd memory.

I tried to change location, folder and song names, and even uninstalled and reinstalled apollo after data and cache delete, and this still happens, i noticed only once that apollo actually listed the music but would not play it, then deleted the entire album from the list

I am at a loss and i would love to fix it

If you're doing the same thing as what was in the closed thread, we can't assist with that, forum rules. Other than just to say, check what format the music is in, if it's WMA(Windows Media), that's the problem. MP3, M4a, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis, should be no problems.
