Music player missing some files

Hey, all. So, I have an of g3. In effort to alleviate my problem (described below) I just did a factory reset, which proved fruitless.

So, the problem. I have friends that make mp3 music that they share with me over torrent services. Most times, when I download it, it works just fine. But for some cases, it works fine for a few days. But then, a few days later, the music disappears from my music players . all of them. Ive tried downloading other players, which also proved fruitless.

I have a file explorer, and the files are still there, and can be opened in the file explorer, but still won't show up in my music player. Does anybody have any idea what I can do to stop this? Is really like to be able to listen to music in the music player!

Oh yeah, the no working music is in the same folder as the working music

Maybe look for a " * " , "no media" file in the folders that have music..??
(they can block your music player from seeing the files)

You could try using an app like Mp3dit go into the file explorer, find the album and select all the songs and combine them into an album.
