I've just been on a driving holiday and used my S3 (4.1.2) as a Sat Nav and music player. I noticed that the music was skipping, which has never happened before. I bought the phone a year ago and used it on another driving holiday and this problem didn't occur.
I was using Google Maps and the stock music player both holidays. When the screen is on and Maps is running the music did not skip once, but when the screen is turned off or Maps is closed the music starts to skip a second or so. It does this on all tracks, even ones that have played fine before and the Aux cable is fitted properly.
Also when turning the screen on again and swiping to unlock this causes the music to skip.
Any ideas please?
