Help Music player widget

I had an LG Optimus Q that had a built in widget for the default music player. It was simple, consisting of a play button, a forward skip button, and the title of the song, which you could tap to go to the main music player. I can't find the widget on my Samsung Galaxy Captivate Glide. Is this widget available on my phone, and if not, is there a comparable widget to download? I don't need a huge app - I just want the widget. Thanks in advance.

The widget is part of the app, so if it was part of the LG app you won't have it with the Samsung player (though there may be an option with that app which works similarly).

I found some "widget only" solutions by searching the Play Store for "music control widget". Never used them, so can't recommend, but have a look and you may find something that does what you want.
