Music player with EQ and/or mute

is there a music player that has an equalizer in it?

and is there a music player that will mute all other system sounds? like i be pumping my music at 200 watts in my car from my phone and then the phone rings or a text message comes in and it BLARES...

Mixzing has an equalizer (MP3 only), and is a great player to boot. Astro Music player also has an EQ but is inferior to Mixzing in other ways imo. As far as muting all the system sounds...I think you should search for some toggle widgets or volume manager for that. I don't know of any music player that will do it for you.

Totally agree. Mixzing is all I've used in the past 4 months. Just keeps getting better.

Mixzing has an open forum where you can post such a request. That's a very sensible one that I think they would want to work on fairly quickly.
