I have a new Sanyo/Kyocera Zio from Cricket using android 1.6. When I first got it, I loaded it up with music, hooked up my headphones, and it sounded great. I then proceeded, over time, to add such things as Pandora and the Audible.com app.
All was good until one time I was listening to an audiobook and noticed it's sound quality was am radio. I thought this might be just audible.com downloading lower quality due to bandwidth issues, like netflix does. But after that, all music has played in that lower quality, as if a setting has changed system wide. So far, I have found no setting to fix this issue, and it drives me crazy.
I'm assuming that, since I am an android newbie, that there is a simple fix that I need to make, but am too clueless to discover. However, I have tried to research this issue prior to posting. I did discover similar complaints about android 2.2 and that it is a bug in that version, but nothing on 1.6.
Could anyone help me? I would really appreciate it.
