Hello everybody! I'm new to this community 
I have a Samsung Mesmerize and I transferred my music by debugging it and using iTunes to transfer the music to a folder I created called "Music". So I dragged all of the music I wanted on there with no problems.
The thing is, the tags were different! I had genres named "<unknown>" or "others" when I CLEARLY label them on iTunes. I even had artists named "<unknown>".
So I downloaded an app called "iTag" and it fixed the whole artist situation, but not so much the genre area: I have different genres labeled on the songs named Progressive Rock, Post-Rock, Metal, and Instrumental that show up on my iPod Touch. On the phone, Post-Rock has its own category, but Progressive Rock and Metal are grouped together under "Rock" and Instrumental is under "<unknown>" still!
I've tried numerous other tagging applications with no helpful results. Can somebody PLEASE help me?! I'm desperate!
