Music transfer

Hi I'm in an app where I want to put music to a slideshow of my pics.
But I can only add the bog standard ringtone type music.
How do i add my music into the ringtone setting.
I've clicked on add in my sound picker but it doesn't take me to my music

Please provide some important information:

- your Android device's name and model, e.g., Motorola Moto Z² Force Edition

- which Android version you're using, e.g., Oreo, 8.0.0, etc.

- the name of the app, preferably with a link to it in the Play store

- the version of the app you're using

There will be more questions once we know the above.
