Help Music volume increases with notification alert?

I believe I've noticed this on both of the music players I use the most, Meridian Player and the Car Tunes App. I'll be listening to a song and then sometimes when a notification comes in, the volume gets really loud for a second and then goes back to normal. It's really annoying - anyone notice this or find a fix? I'm not sure if it's a specific type of notification, but it doesn't seem to happen too often.

Take a peek at the following screen:

Menu --> Settings --> Sound --> Volume

There you can see your volume settings for each of the following: Ringtone, media & alarm.

Right below that there is a box called "use incoming call volume for notifications." Is that box checked for you? You might try changing that setting to see if it makes a difference or not.

Thanks! That seems to have done the trick! Weird that the default was set that way since I'd imagine most people would find it annoying.
