do i have to be on the internet to play music on a coby mid7065-8
 
If you haven't downloaded the content to your tablet,then yes,you will need some sort of data/WI-FI connection to the source/internet.

If you have downloaded the music to your device, you do not have to be connected to the Internet; if your music is in the cloud, you do.
