MX Box Output Resolution

New to the forum, only just found you!

I wondered if someone might be able to help me?

I have an Android MX box which I've used at home for 6 months without issue, I've bought the box away with me on a family holiday in Spain, I've plugged it in, connected it to the TV in the villa I've rented and it appears the Resolution from the box isn't compatible with the TV! My TV at home is 1080p.

Does anyone know what f there is a way of booting the box into a Safe Mode? I thought if I could do that I'd be able to view the box on the TV and adjust the video to whatever is compatible?

Any help appreciated, kids are in bed but tomorrow could be tricky if I can't sort it!!

Thanks

Hi
My the tv here in Spain isn't had by the looks of it (well, not 1080 anyway)

When the box is connected to the TV it says mode not compatible, I guess it's either the resolution or the refresh rate, I just can view the settings on the box to change them!

I was trying to find a solution to this problem as well. My MX box was working fine with my TV and I went to use it and now get Mode Not Supported. Resolution not supported. Change the resolution of the external device. The only problem is I can't access the external device to change the resolution. I have tried a hard reset, but that doesn't affect the resolution. It is connected with an HDMI cable. Any suggestions of how to resolve this problem? Is there a way to connect it to my laptop to adjust the settings?
