How do I move app icons to and from my startup page? I have tried dragging and pressing and holding with both sides of the mouse.
 
MX Pro? Is that a Meizu, is that what you've got? If so, it has something called Flyme OS, and the launcher works more like an iPhone, it's a single layer home screen without an app draw as such, unlike most conventional Androids. Try a different launcher like Nova.
