How can I upgrade the OS to Android 16 or better?  Won't currently allow me to install Ad Blocker or DSTV Now apps.  Just bombs out of Play Store after yuou type the first few letters.  Will a later OSallow me to run these apps?
 
We're only at Android 8.0 at the moment and that was only annoinced for Nexus/Pixel devices yesterday, it'll be a while till it rolls out to other devices. If your box has telling you have Android 15.1 installed, it's telling lies! :)

Android is tailored for the devices it's installed on so there's no generic build you can install which will work on any device.

Have you had a look through system settings to see if there's any option which looks for an update (unsure of the exact location of the setting in your box).
