Hello

Programming looks cool and I haven't found an app which does this:

I would like to have an app which plays recorded accelerometer data and detects which kind of step it is:
it is a theoretical setup: the record will only be: "step stair up" or "step on flat surface" or "step stair down".

Is this possible for a novice programmer?
Are there sample codes or manuals online which covers (partly) the specs for this app?

In xperia Z1 I have seen a default app something similar to the one your are looking for. I think you should refer that.
