My 2001 f450 is burning oil

My f450 is burning 8quarts a day can someone plz help me figure why and tell me where is the oil going.
Over 300,000miles on it.

That's a rather high mileage. it could be something like piston rings and/or valve guides and seals are worn out. Is the exhaust smokey? Are the plugs becoming oiled up or sooty? Is it losing compression?

FWIW last time I had a very high mileage Ford that was consuming far too much oil, it needed a new engine.

8 qts a DAY? Sounds like you need a complete engine rebuild.
