Help My Airplane mode will not turn off.

My phone is a Cat S60
Android version 6.0.1

About a week ago I stopped having signal on my phone, I didn't do anything about it then because I assumed it was due to my normal garbage service from T-Mobile. Upon finally looking into the problem however I realized that for some reason airplane mode seems to always be on. Nothing I have done from toggling it on and off in the menus, factory resetting the phone, turning it on then rebooting then turning it off has worked. I have been able to find no fix to this.

My phone shows airplane mode as off in the pull down menu, as well as in the actual settings page for airplane mode, but when I hold the power key the popup menu shows Power off, Reboot, and the Airplane mode button shows it as on. When I press that option it greys out and says airplane mode is off but is then un-selectable until I reboot, and the phone still tells me 'Turn off airplane mode to make a call' when attempting a call.

The problem only abated once yesterday, after multiple system resets I was scrolling through options in the system settings when the phone abruptly turned off and rebooted, I did nothing to initiate this, when it came back on I had signal for a few hours and was able to send and receive texts again, but within hours it was right back to doing the same thing.

I have absolutely no idea what the problem is, I haven't installed anything on my phone in months and have barely touched the thing so I know it's nothing I did. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a component is failing. Maybe a radio or an antenna. On the off chance it's corrupted drivers and since factory resetting didn't fix it, you might try reflashing the stock firmware, if it's available.
