My Android won't read Wav files

I have a brand new WonderMedia WM8650 7" Tablet and it won't read my .Wav file attachments in my email. I don't see where I go to to enable this? Is there some kind of "help" button I'm not able to find? or do I have to download this as a application? Please advise. Thx, Deb
