Help My apps got killed in the background?

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with my new phone here. I had a moto g3 for a long time and recently I got a moto g5 plus. Everything is fine except for my apps are constantly getting killed in the background.
I usually drive with google map navigating me and playing music on youtube. right now if i keep the map on screen, youtube would get killed after the current song is over, and if I keep youtube on screen, after a while my navigation would get killed. It's really annoying and I'm not sure what might be the cause. I don't think it's the phone itself since i suppose g5 should be better than g3. It might be the system since my old phone uses android 6.0 and this new one is nougat. Definitely not because I had too many apps running at the same time, since I always kill everything else before driving.
BTW I also tried to exclude youtube and google map from the battery optimization option, and it still happens. Please help me:(

Then do this:
-Use home button to switch apps, back button kills some apps.
-Add it to the battery saving option and then remove it.
-If all this doesn't work, then try using some other music player.
