Depends what make a model phone you have, have you also tried to contact the carrier to make sure that feature was not disabled, also have her reboot the phone and see if that resolves the issue, sometimes that clears the cache.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will restart the phone and ask her to try again.

I occured to me after as whether I posted this in the correct location on the site. I am going to take some time to navigate the site and understand it better.
