MY CAMERA WONT WORK!! ace II x

[Android Question]

I have a white Samsung Galaxy Ace II x.

So I was happily snapchatting my cousins then i updated snapchat because it said there was an update. After that, I went on snapchat and i thought it was loading. but it never went to the camera, it was just black. I went on my actual camera on my phone, it was also black. then on instagram, the camera is black there too!! AGH its been like this since yesterday. Someone help me! I don't know what the problem is? I thought it was maybe because the update on snapchat, but i uninstalled snapchat and the camera still wont work for any app the uses the camera!! its frustrating me and im sad because i want to take pictures!

I have already tried restarting my phone. i also took out the sim card and put it back in. I also went to applications manager and forced closed the camera. But none of them worked!!

Hello, and welcome!

The only thing I can think of is to go into your application manager and try to uninstall the snapchat, reboot the phone and try the camera. If the camera works, good, it was snapchat. If it doesn't, bad. It would be "factory reset" time in my book (actually not that bad, just a bit of a pain).
