My Camera Won't Work...

I have a MyTouchQ, and whenever I press the camera icon, a box pops up saying, "Cannot connect to camera."
My mom won't come to get it checked with me, (I'm 16, so I can't do it myself unless I have my own contract, which I don't.) and it's really frustrating me! I have tried EVERYTHING. I've deleted half my apps, purchased a new SD card, turned my phone off and back on, but nothing will work. Can someone PLEASE help me? It hasn't worked for over 5 months.

Have you tried doing a factory reset on your MyTouch Q? Sometimes a factory reset can solve the problem. Note: all your data will be deleted, including contacts, texts, etc...
